How do Airless Pump Bottles work (and why do we use them)?
Airless pump bottles protect sensitive products, such as natural skin care creams, serums, foundations, and other preservative-free formula creams, by preventing them from excessive exposure to air, thus increasing product shelf life.
This makes airless technology the future of cosmetic, beauty, and medical packaging.
In technical terms, it is a dispensing system that combines a mechanically-activated pump with a specifically designed container which, after filling, delivers the product without any air intake. The airless bottle has no dip tube to inject air, but rather a diaphragm that rises to release the product from the bottle.
As you press on the pump, the diaphragm at the bottom creates a vacuum, drawing the product upwards. There is no intake of air, so dangerous germs or mould spores can be effectively kept away from the content.
This also means, you are able to use almost all of our product provided in the bottle, leaving no waste, and you never have to worry again about faulty everyday pumps that may not work with different product densities.
